It's crazy viewing Neptune from a telescope. Its so far away that even if you were on Saturn, you still wouldn't see it with the naked eye.
@michaelblack192510 ай бұрын
Right it's kinda carzy to think that we can see millions of miles away almost as if there closer than what we are told
@loxitto8 ай бұрын
@@michaelblack1925The eye can see indefinitely. Angular size is what matters. The bigger the angular size of the object, the more the eye can resolve. Makes sense, since these planets are very damn big. It's like asking how you can see a mountain 100,000 meters away if you can't see your friend 400m away with the naked eye.

i appreciate you ponting all these out but if you dont give us some reference points or what direction your camera is pointed its kinda hard to know where we are looking... the only thing i know rt now is where jupiter is and where the moon is.... but you swung over to jupiter so quickly from saturn i could keep track of where it will be when i go to look at the next chance i get... like what direction was your scope pointed when you were looking at saturn? was it south? south west? west? northeast?... for me here in PA i look south east(more east than south) to see jupiter... i have pics of jupiter but i would now really like to get a decent pic of saturn... where were you looking? tx 4 ur 🕘

Absolutely not. Save money for something desirable. To start with, you might want to consider an 8-inch Newtonian telescope with a Dobson-type mount.
