noticed a few times in that when the c4 lagged and didnt do full damage. seems like its becoming more and more common as of recent, i assume thats also why you waited on the esamir c4 kill

Yes, Its common ,specially when harasser/ant/Mag turbo if you detonate right away it will do no damage.

While the Halbred is a solid choice why not use the Suron when playing the VS? More fire power for missed shots and still have a long range reach.

Harassers bump around a lot when the driver is moving/dodging. Actually aiming while the car is doing that isn't as easy, so it isn't really viable at long range. Halb you can just fire off a shot when the harasser isn't bucking like crazy, which is often enough to keep the DPS up in either closer ranges or longer ranges. Least that's my experience with it. Saron works better for Magrider, but even then I prefer halb.

When I dirve usually is my gunner choise, whatever gun they prefer to use I try to adapt on my driving. For me when gunning I prefer the halberd against harassers, as @InimicusXII said, I tend to miss a lot more with Saron against moving harasser, even more when they have good cover. Aphelion is the best anti-harasser gun for VS though
