Planetside 2: Liberator Gameplay - Can't be Killed

Flying Lib is the the part of PS2 that has singlehandedly had my ass coming back for 10 years. Doing a canyon run from mosquitos while the boys feed you intel after a big target kill is hands down the most adrenaline inducing experience in gaming.

To answer the question about the valkyrie being able to get a bounty. TR has the striker anti air rocket launcher and it is auto lock on meaning no time waiting for "lock". This launcher also has dumb fire capability. So if you have 3 heavies with strikers, an engineer dedicated to repairing all the time, plus a gunner using a hellion. You can delete a lightning tank in a single magazine with a hellion as long as the heavies land their shots with their strikers. You can rack up a lot of kills on a valkyrie with a well coordinated crew. As far as I know the striker is the only launcher that works with valk play like this.

Nice, didn't know about that. I've never considered Valkyries to be such a great threat before. I'll definitely be on the lookout for them in the future specially when I go with solo Lightning...

As a Valk pilot i can confirm. Slap a pelter on, grab four Striker Heavys and oneclip everything, even gals. Best aircraft in my opinion.

Not for me tho. I find it kinda easier than walker for example. Or at the very least I hit more shots on enemy air than with a walker...

@@cheancey Yeah you generally wanna shoot a little bit ahead of them, when you're close enough the missiles will get auto guided towards them but it has to be like really close...

How do I find liberator pilots to gun for?

It''s not easy finding a good liberator pilot. I know that when I need one I usually go to the warpgate during peak hours and try to hop into one, maybe even talk to them through chat/voice chat first. Finding a gunner for vehicles is easier for example. In that case I just go to a good vehicle battle and spam "I need a gunner" and then see whom I can get. Usually it doesn't take long to find a solid gunner that way, then I even add them as a friend and tell them I'll call them should I need them again. I have a bunch of people in the friends list that I met in that way, although I don't even remember them anymore or how and when exactly I met them. Also being a part of the outfit of any sort can help, since you can look for a pilot/driver/gunner that way too. Maybe even posting a text on a Planetside reddit and saying which server you play on? I've never done this myself, but the idea just crossed my mind. Who knows it could be helpful...
