They are sure quick enough to take peoples money, but when it comes to giving money back, you have to fight tooth and nail. Its an absolute disgrace. My mum is 94 years old. This local dentist spent a day every year coming into the school, showing a film about brushing teeth, gave a short presentation, and answering a Q&A. A company gave him toothpaste and toothbrushes to hand out to children. A simple solution that also got him families as clients, since he was now a familiar face.

We now have a generation having kids that have never been told no, never been slapped, and don't know what discipline is. They're also a generation that were raised considering it normal to be raised by one parent and to have siblings that have different fathers. Then we wonder why they make crap parents!
@stellasiler2808 Жыл бұрын
Hold up, I'm a single parent, my kids were told quite often "no" because we could only afford so much(deadbeat dads considered). My children did not have problems with authority, nor did they go on to be criminals. And on a second note, the schools have our children for a majority of the time in a week, and generally I found the teachers and the staff were pandering to kids against what parents expectations were. Priorities in check, messing up your kids will be your worst failure in life but when a society takes over against your morals and values who really "screwed" up the kids???
@sonjadidyk-tn4cc Жыл бұрын
precisely
@aib0160 Жыл бұрын
@@stellasiler2808 I'm not saying every child is the same, but surely you can see it's harder to raise kids alone than it is as a couple and the outcome for kids raised by two parents in general turns out to be better? Like many things, relationships/marriage are discarded all too easily these days and entered into too easily too. Nobody wants to work at things or consider the outcome when rushing into relationships and children. These days the child arrives before the marriage, if there ever is one and all too often the relationship is over once the novelty wears off. Kids get dumped in front of the TV or computer to keep them entertained and many don't want to put the time in so we end up with kids going to school in nappies, unable to count, read etc. and with little social skills. This is the generation that is now having kids of their own and it comes as no surprise to me that they're not the best parents.
@stellasiler2808 Жыл бұрын
@aib0160 yes being a single parent is hard, but it can be done! To say everyone should wait til their mid twenties or thirties, well there goes two of my children not existing, damn fine people as well so cross them off your list. Oh and by your theory no out of wedlock kids, well that gets rid of my eldest brother, retired police officer and elder in his church, has helped hundreds of people in his lifetime. But hey by your standards let's get rid of those people because it's too hard to do? Life is hard, whether there are two people raising kids or not! Thing is stop pushing the narrative that single mothers are the problem. Most likely it's better for children to be with a single parent than an abusive one!!! Oh and just so you know I know of many kids raised by two parents who ended up in prison. But you want to say this is about school and how children behave in school. Maybe the teachers and staff should go back to actually running the school for the kids.
@aib0160 Жыл бұрын
@@stellasiler2808 I think you may misunderstand the points being made. Firstly wedlock, I think it better that after a long period of romance a couple settle down together, buy a house, get married and then have children. It shows commitment, that it's not a fling and many of the stresses of being a new parent are reduced. Given a choice would you think being forced to enter into a long term relationship because of an unplanned pregnancy is a better way to go? Years ago sex education was less detailed, education around relationships was non-existent and contraception was much harder to come by yet unplanned pregnancy's were fewer. This again for me says more about our throw away society as many of these unplanned pregnancy's end with abortion or a single parent family. Children raised by a single parent and as in your case usually the mum, often end up leading double lives with most of the time spent with mum and some of the time spent with dad if he's still on the scene. The experience for the child between the two households will be very different for most. They may also be entering a household where there's a new partner and another brood of kids and potentially a half sibling(s). All very confusing for a child and no surprise to me that they get resentful and start having mental health issues. These kids also often find themselves as pawns in a game their mum plays as all too often she's more than happy to weaponise the kid(s) as a means of breaking ties, extracting more money or inflicting emotional pain on her former partner and his family. The child often sees themselves as the cause of all this pain. Meanwhile the likes of schools and the TV are pumping out this non-stop toxic left wing ideology that a normal family is anything but a mother and father in a loving relationship where their children are the focus of their lives. They're told that having just one parent is normal, or better still having two mummies or two daddies is even better. Anything but the stereotypical traditional family that I was lucky enough to grow up in and the same environment my children grew up in. That successful traditional model has new been broken now and I have a son with three children to three different mothers and my other son has a child to a mother that already had a child. I've seen all the above play out before my eyes so I speak from experience and funnily enough all the older grandchildren want to stay with us or their other grandparents.

I’m afraid it goes far deeper than that. It’s not about bad parenting ( there will always be bad parents) it’s about systematically breaking the parent/child bond. Little by little. If we do not fight back, our grandchildren will have no parenting rights at all! Their teachers already don’t need to inform a parent if the child “identifies” as something else. The “trans” movement is far more sinister than many realise. 🙁

A big issue with the NHS is that. The doctors a nurses arent being paid a competitive rate. Compared with, private health care or angency work. So they leave and join agencies or go private. The hospitals then have to employ agency staff at, in some cases, 3 times the hourly rate!! If they brought the NHS staffs wages up and stopped using angency workers, less would leave to join those agencies. More would stay with the NHS, and more students would decide to go in the medical field.

And btw, if someone is to adopt a child, they should take several tests, learn and be evaluated thoroughly, but meanwhile anyone else is assumed to be trustworthy to have a child regardless of their conditions.

Esther is, as always, brainy and brilliant. And, damn the woman for having it all, she is also, beautiful. Young Jess is equally bright, have seen many of her well presented pieces elsewhere. But feel she has to find her feet on a panel like this, appears a little overawed by the others who are more adept at getting their voices heard. Sure she will learn though.

Esther, if you're having "mixed feelings" about the Hamas-Israeli situation, your compass needs a serious adjustment. I cant listen to you beyond that statement.
