Phytoplankton and Zooplankton may be tiny, but they sure have an impact on our ocean's ecosystem. Learn about the impressive plankton research UNE students Terrance Meinardus and Julia Hobbs are working on with Dr. Patricia Thibodeau along UNE's coastal Maine campus waterfront.
Terrance is researching the impact of quantifying shifting phytoplankton populations in the Gulf of Maine. Julia is investigating the effect of lunar cycles on Ulva lactuca zoospore release timing.
