OMG I am so excited the 1st video I have found with anything that mentions Planner5d that has someone speaking! Making sense and helping me learn how to use this app. One tutorial said “this program is to easy” in the description. It shows someone doing it in total silence. Tutorials should teach how to utilize something. Another said “How to build a home in Planner 5d”. It simply shows room to room, overhead and outdoor of a home someone created. Again in total silence. How does that show HOW to? I think the others were created by twelve years old. So thank you for your video.

I agree, though silence is even more preferable than annoying music or noise that seems to be called music. Those are definitely not tutorials.

I am not following. I just downloaded this 5D planner and when I click on new project It brings me up a living room of only 269.1 sqft and I don't know how to change it. When I hold my finger down on it and click edit it lets me edit all the textures and the height of the room but how do I edit the room size itself and why is there not a tutorial or some sort of instructions on this app?!?

Can anyone explain what the wall measurements actually represent? Is it the interior room measurement? The exterior measurement? The depth to the center of the wall (middle of the wall thickness)? There are some really basic stuff for so-called "design" that are really limited in this app. One of them is precision with measurements. It looks like a tool that's more for people to play with things they'll never actually do than for someone who is serious about home design.

Good video... Thanks for your effort.......I am planing to design my basement. I have got the size of basement in inches. If I enter the actual inches, the drawing is so big and not usable. How can I create a floor plan with a scale? I want to enter my actual size and create a scaled floor plan. Any help is appreciated.

I just... Started working... I wanted to design a 3bhk house on 36ft x50ft plot...i draged the points to bring to that size... But, Its not coming to desired size which I want that is 36x50...it is coming to 36x50-4"...and surprisingly the shape is not rectangle..showing slightly tappered. Strange! Lol...

Not the correct way to add a room as you'll see on Planner 5d website they say..."Tip: always create each room separately. Do not create one big space to add smaller rooms inside of it. That leads to layer conflicts and can cause you a headache in later stages. Create separate rooms and put one near the other" Not ideal to teach people the incorrect method!!
