I tried using a pdf planner in Good;Notes and it didn’t work for me at all. I need the physical trigger of seeing a planner as a reminder to open and engage with it. I do love GoodNotes for note taking (life changing!) , writing down voicemails, doc signing in the age of work from home and jotting down preparation notes before work meetings. It is more of a capture and reference tool for me for GTD and not great for inbox, calendar , tasks or horizon level planning. I have the same iPad mini cover as you too.

EXACTLY, I completely agree. You worded it perfectly, after a lot of experimenting I've come to learn that my iPad works better for me as a "capture and reference" tool for notes and brainstorming. It can't take the place of my physical planner.

This is such a good flip! Thank you. It’s nice to see your digital setup but another limitation of it is the archive. I like to have a clean, clear “packet” of pages from a year so I can easily look back at it. I feel like if I use digital that’s not as possible. Plus.....I went digital about 5years ago. Twice! Twice my entire plan was just gone for a while (like 12 hours). Off of my phone, iPad and laptop. I’m still not over it!

Sara Shute I don’t really keep an archive so that’s not an issue for me. BUT I would freak out if I couldn’t access my digital planner for any amount of time! Now you got me worried 😅
