This has been very helpful, to put a slide guide on the cutting board mat makes sense. Thank you. Be blessed.

Thanks for showing how you modify the Levenger punch. I've had a difficult time punching things properly.

Great idea on creating the guides for the Open Industrial! I have both the Open Industrial and the Rapesco. My experience is that the Open Industrial is definitely better quality. I also agree that the Open Industrial is better set-up for A5 None of them are fantastic - they're relatively inexpensive, say in comparison with Filofax punch or a commercial drill punch. There is definitely room in the market for a higher quality punch at a non-commercial price. But the Open Industrial is the best of the current bunch. (PS I'm no longer using a disc system, but when I did I didn't have any trouble with any of the Levenger punches you discussed in this video. In general, the Levenger brand is top-notch. If anybody experiences a problem, I'd return it. My guess is that they would stand by it.)

+Sandra Tulloss Hi! Yes, once I received the Rapasco, I discovered I favored the Open Industrial punch more, especially for the A5 size. And I agree with your assessment of the punches available in the market. My experience with Levenger is similar to yours. Through several purchases with Levenger, I notice that they value quality. It's an evident trait in their products from their pens to their bags and so on. I also notice on their site that they pledge to deliver carefully constructed goods. So if a product of theirs is not up to par, it would be in their interest to resolve the issues. Thank you for watching the video and for taking the time to comment. I truly appreciate it. :)

I have a little Rapesco that is adjustable, but it is not labeled. I think it does only mini and personal sizes. I may look into the open paper punch. I do like how it is labeled😃👍🏻. I did order the Rapesco off Amazon. Thank you for this video🤗.

I'm so glad that I ran across your video. Recently, I switched over the Discbound system. I'm thinking about getting the Circa Leverage Punch, I'm still on the fence because of the price. In your video, you mentioned this could punch through the 10mil Laminated sheet. How many lbs card stock did you use in your laminated sheet? Would you please do a video on DIY dashboard with 10mil laminated using your Circa Leverage Punch? Thanks so much.

I use a 100# cardstock in between the 10-mil laminate. And even though it's quite thick, this heavy-duty Levenger is strong enough to go through it. I will add that request to my list of videos. :) Thank you for watching and commenting!

Hello! Thank you so much for this video. I have a question please. I am starting a "cover" company here in the mext few weeks and trying to find the right punch for 10 mil covers. I see that you used the big Levenger for that. Did that work well for you? I called Levenger and they told me they didnt have a punch that worked with 10 mil. Does this jam on you? Does with work well? I would really like your opinion before I purchase this. Thank you so much in advance! Kelley

Can you do a video on your supplies? Like I've seen you use a rotary cutter or the finger blade
@JeePapeterie9 жыл бұрын
+seiwhat1 Hello! I like your suggestion. I have tons of supplies, and I can do one that is focused on cutting tools (blades, rotary, trimmers, cutters, etc.). If there are other supplies you'd like to see, please let me know. Thank you for watching. :)

Hi Jee! Where did you get the mat? I want to do the same set-up so my punches are consistent. I would love a tutorial video where you walk through the setup step by step for punch and paper alignment. This is a great post. Thank you.

+Nicole Stark Hello! I purchased this mat from Walmart's craft section. I've also seen them sold at Hobby Lobby and other fabric stores. Just a note: don't apply heat to these self-healing mats (ex. setting a hot mug on the mat), or they will warp. Thank you for the tutorial suggestion! I will add that to my list of upcoming videos. :)

Hi Jee -- Thanks for the video! I have a question. I use a Tul and my wife uses a Happy Planner. We'd love to get a hole punch that we both can use. I doubt we will do much punching of thicker items (bookmarks, laminated pages), but something we can use and have easily turned, but securely fastened, pages. Any recommendations?

Hello there! Is that the goal digger planner uncoiled or is that an insert you made? I am trying to find reviews about this planner/agenda called the Goal Digger. Can you do a review pretty please if you have that in your Kikki K. Ingenious idea about the markings btw. My holes are all over the place when I uncoiled my EC.
@JeePapeterie8 жыл бұрын
+K.N. J Hi! The Goal Digger insert that you see is a dashbaord that I designed. I've also heard about the Goal Digger planner, but I have only checked it out on its site. If I do get it, I will be more than glad to do a review on it. :) I understand how frustrating it can be to have the punched holes unaligned. And so I was on a mission to figure out a process to make the punched holes line up as much as possible, and hopefully help others who may find it handy as well. Thank you for watching and for commenting.

Thank you so much! This was very helpful! I took a look at the Open Paper Punch on Amazon (I can read the katakana in their diagrams). They are saying that it punches 3 sizes, that they are calling bible (letter?), A5, and Mini (Field Notes?). I'm looking for a hole punch system that can punch out holes for disc bound journals with diy laminated covers, do you have any good recommendations? Thanks so much again!

hi, which setting do you use for the 123 levenger punch for Happy Planner inserts?
@JeePapeterie8 жыл бұрын
+Lisa Omarali Hello! For the 123 Levenger punch, you want to set your guide 0.25" to the left of the "Compact" marking. This setting will help you punch the Happy Planner inserts. I hope that helps, but let me know if you have any other questions. I should probably upload some pictures onto my blog next week for quick reference. :) Thank you for watching!

Hi Jee! I know this video is from last year.. this really helped me with my Levenger.. I just would like to ask if somehow you use a puncher or a binding machine for erin condren planner? or can you recommend one? I found single hole puncher to be a bit difficult to use when punching a cover.. :) thank you so much in advance..

Hello! There are a few options for binding machines that will work with the Erin Condren Planner. I will do a video about it. :) So please be on the lookout! Thank you!

Hi which size of levenger circa discs did you use for your happy planner ? I would replace my plastic discs but i don t which pick 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch. TY

I use the 1" Levenger Circa discs. If I find that the planner is getting too bulky, I will usually archive pages into storage. :)

Where did u get you black levenger punch? I've been trying to get one, but there are so expensive?!
@JeePapeterie8 жыл бұрын
Hello! I purchased mine from a seller on eBay at a discount. I noticed it was shipped directly from Levenger, so I am guessing that the seller probably had store credit and ordered it from Levenger and had it shipped directly to me. I've also ordered other items directly from Levenger. If you sign up with them for emails, they will email you with their sales and coupons. :) Hope that helps!
