PLANNER PEACE: 18 Things To Do BEFORE Setting Up Your Planner

I have always used spiral bound notebooks. I come from the Dark Ages, so I also used a Day Timer for business. I have a stationary addiction, so I own several steno pads and college ruled spiral bound notebooks that I used to buy during Back to School sales. I use my notebooks for sermon notes and Scripture writing, but things were getting a bit unorganized. I started making indexes to put on the inside cover of each notebook, but that was only a partial fix. This year, I started watching videos for planners, and I realized that I could maybe use something like that to help me get organized. I went a little crazy on Black Friday, and I am now playing with my new toys. I definitely need a monthly calendar because I am old. Therefore, I have to keep track of doctor appointments and prescription refills and birthdays. I live in an apartment complex, and we have quarterly inspections, and I also need to keep track of the first of the year projects. I fell in love with the disc system immediately, though I am also going to try to use an Erin Condren planner, just to see which one I will be more comfortable with. I have a cheap two year small calendar that I toss in my purse to write appointment times in. I used to transfer the appointments to a wall calendar, but this will be my first year to use a planner instead. We'll see how this works for me. Wish this old woman luck!

My preference is a Sunday start, same as a calendar. I wanted to try your Hobonichi Style pack, but I only saw a Monday start 😔

Yes! Sunday start feels “right” somehow and is so hard to find.

I’m not sure but the first disc system I ever saw was Circa by Levenger. They still make them. Usually used in corporate settings.

Hey! Mini is closer to personal that A6 but is a lot larger than both. It’s closer to personal wide size
