We retired and I went from gobs of responsibilities with our business down to tying up loose ends across a lot of areas. I found that I could get kind of aimless without a planner keeping me on track and having one place to keep records. I spent big money (in the $500-plus dollar range this year on things related to Happy Planner) and then discovered that I did best making my own monthly habit tracker sheets, daily sheets, weekly reviews, and monthly recaps of personal things and designed what would work for me for tracking financial things. Anyhooooo....I'm keeping one Happy Planner that I've used all year as a "catch all" and now will use a second one (a 2023 that I redated--about a 2-hour process) to hold the personal daily, weekly and monthly sheets for 2024. So I've gone from one to two planners in use. Egads! Anyway, what I learned is that I am absolutely a "functional" planner and I'm a chronicaler--don't want a journal but do want a record. And I am not a fan of stickers and embellishments. The most I want is a strip of washi tape down the page where the holes are punched. After all is said and done, I am extremely glad I got going with planners but wish I didn't have the personality type that collects everything related to a hobby until I see what I truly need. I could have saved hundreds of dollars.

My WOTY is "Evolve". I felt like it works well for each area of my life. Im gonna do a vision board for each area (faith, health, financial, etc) using Evolve as the focus for each.❤

"Evolve" is a great one. In classic style, I can't just pick one. Mine last year were "Lighten" and "Consistent." The year before it was "Use What You Have." Have you been picking a WOTY long?

I'm using the big dashboard that has wildflowers on it for my catchall. I can't remember the name, and than I'm using the Disney Cats vertical for my work/ on the go, and the new faith layout for church and Journaling. I also have a bunch of random stash Items I'm using up at least until Spring. My big planning goal for 2024 is to use my stash.
