Hi Bari. I’ve been waiting for this video for some time now. Glad it’s out! I have two Kaweco fountain pens. I bought the plastic one first (in white) to see if I liked the grip. I loved how small it was! About a year later, I got a brick red aluminium one. I love it, too. I never purchased the accessory clips because 1. I never use them clipped to anything and 2. I don’t want to scratch the pen. My husband got one for himself and it’s made in steel. He loves it, too. Next on my wish list is that matte black aluminium pen in a ballpoint. Loved the video, keep them coming! Big hug 🤗

Thank you for your review. Great job! I use the Kaweco ballpoint but I find that the ink takes too long to dry and my writing leaves marks on opposite blank pages in my notebooks. Any idea if any refills dry faster than the Kaweco? Thanks.

I don't use the Kaweco refills. I like the HiTec C Slims as I show on the video - hard to find, but I have a link to some.

They also have a color called silver - it is darker than the one I have, which is called Raw Aluminum.

Hello Bari! Thank you for this. I've been going back and forth about purchasing a Kaweco pen since the HHL. I really like the look of the white pen with the gold trim, but am really loving the AL sport too. I tend to purchase/use white pens but I saw the AL sport on JetPens in a beautiful matte deep red color that I really liked. Red is my favorite color. I will probably end up with both at some point. I just need to pace myself.😁

They are 2 different pens.If you have a chance to watch again, you can see the difference and which refills I suggest.

Beautiful collection! I purchased the Iridescent Pearl fountain pen to try out a fountain pen. I've only experimented with it once so far. I made a little bit of a mess--not even sure what I did wrong. So now I'm gun shy because I don't want to mess up anything important. I love the look of the Sport AL pens though--both the black and the silver. I'll just have to practice more so that I can justify buying the black and/or silver Sport AL pens!

Thank you for such a thorough review! I do not own one of these pens but hope to soon! I wonder if you can find a white gel pen to go in the white pen case? I use white get to cover lines in my planner and to write on black sticky notes! I would love to see your research process in finding pen refills. I have a few pens I need refills on and not sure how to determine what will fit before I buy them?

Hi Marsha, I did look a bit, but do not see any white refills that would fit. You need a parker style refill for the rollerball.

Hi Bari, it's been a minute........I ❤ the idea of fountain pens, and own a few, (no Kawecos though), but I never use them. Back in the day I did calligraphy and that's when I got my first. Although I have toyed with idea of a red Kaweco in my pen cup. Who uses pens as decor? This girl! 😂😂😂
