Planning a Garden Party & Celebrating in My Carolina Garden! I like to make it a point to celebrate Earth Day in a fun or interesting way each year, and this year I'm planning a garden party! I want my friends and neighbors to spend time with me in My Carolina Garden, and I also want to be able to send them home with some perennials I've divided up to share. The only thing I didn't plan for was THE RAIN :(
Check out how I planned my garden party, prepped my yard and flowerbeds, picked up and made cut flower arrangements, and set up for my party on what ended up being a rainy day. (We still got to enjoy the wisteria, though!) Oh well, time to plan another party!

Wow... who is lucky enough to have a neighbor with a cut flower business and extra free flowers the day before their party!!!!!!! Then the rains came!!!! You sure stayed calm and pulled off a wonderful gathering. What a great photo of good friends!

Everything was so beautiful and I bet your guests loved it! We always attend garden tours around Dallas, TX where we live. One year, it was POURING rain but we did it anyway. We were soaked but so inspired. I know your friends and neighbors were inspired too.

Thankfully you got a dry patch. Such a bummer when that happens. This year will be my 3rd annual. I always look forward to seeing everyone and showing off the garden. Such fun. I love your Wisteria.

It's sad when it's over. Currently looks like a blanket of snow under my wisteria as all the petals drop... Ah, until next year! 💜
