From MI, I commented on your over winter video. I just came across my large fabric pot used last year for potatoes where I densely seeded leeks late summer. I could have mistaken them for dead grass/cover earlier, but they seem to be reviving. I'll definitely find a home for some of them here and there in the garden. I hope they don't go straight into seed (same hope for my runt onions, shallots planted October same time and method as Garlic).

I’ve got almost the exact same situation-a large fabric planter on our patio where my son and I planted some sprouted onions from the pantry as a bit of a science experiment. They may go straight to seed but they DID appear to survive, so far…
