The wkcares tactical call sign is no good on winlink.

If this meets the user's requirements, more power to him. However, portable - adj. - able to be easily carried or moved, especially because being of a lighter and smaller version than usual The presenter has assembled a system that weighs *every bit* of 100 lbs -perhaps more: two car batteries ( *car batteries!!!* ), the vertical from the home QTH ("requires no radials"? --it's a vertical antenna, of course it requires radials. A vertical antenna without a counterpoise is half an antenna that's awesome for warming clouds.), a speaker stand, and a QRO radio and a laptop computer that both draw an *enormous* amount of amps. Throw it on a cart, and it's "portable"? I can't reconcile this. This isn't "A Portable Winlink System" --this is a 45-minute presentation on, "How I Dis-assembled My Shack and Moved It Outdoors." It meets literally no definition of portable. This is what many do for ARRL Field Day. Please don't justify lugging 100lbs of kit from home into the field by saying, "minimize cost" --with equipment that was never meant to be in the field --and slap the name "portable" on it because you added a wagon to the mix.
