I think the access hole idea sounds really neat but certainly more difficult than the L shape, at least for now.

I believe there is a spray you can put on things to stop cats from chewing on it.. Also.. Anyone see the next deck? Hmm.. Where could you be?

You could try some floating shelves on that back wall for other sets like the Razor Crest. Rotate them out when you need space.

I was thinking about that too! I am not sure if I am going to want to raise the back row of modular buildings yet on that wall. So that might have to come later
