I love hearing you talking through the video. I love hearing your thought process, your doubts, your decisions, etc. I haven't finished the video, but I'm loving the talk-through. 😊

I loved both part 1 and 2 of your journal set up videos. I’m in the process of setting mine up and it is quite the chore. I printed a lot of things on sticker paper and put them down in the journal because I don’t have the talent you do to free form everything. I wish I had your handwriting! Please keep your process of talking through the video no matter how long they are. Your audience loves it! ♥️♥️

I am so proud of you. I remember the days when only perfection would work for you. I love how you are counting over a few dots for the title. Centering is a pain! I love the borders, torn papers and those little phrases you are using. Well done!

I far prefer listening to you talk through your videos because then I hear and see what you mean. It also gives me more time to absorb what you’re demonstrating. Please don’t change. I just love watching your videos. You’re like an old friend. 😅❤ (not old old, just long time 😂).

Hi Mary Ellen I wanted to tell you that on Amazon there's a product by Gennel which is a 1.5 mm x 25 m clear double-sided very strong adhesive tape going for $7.55. It's great for getting things glued right into the middle binding. I use them for tippins for my planners. I add pictures and vellums and other things like using this tape. I think it would work perfect for what you need. I love your reading journal I wish I could be as talented as you are. You're inspiring me to at least try.❤❤❤❤ Your friend from Oregon

I like the real time videos you do. I don't prefer the voice over or music. One thing I thought of that might be helpful when I glue stuff into my planner or journals I put the piece on the old backing of a paper pad so I can glue to the edge and not worry about getting glue on my table. It works great for me. I like how your video turned out. I can't wait to see more! One page I added to my reading journal is a page with squares with a number in each. I picked a different color for audio, kindle, or physical book. I color in each one based on the format. That might be an easy way to keep track of the totals for each format.

I hope you stay with talking during your videos. It helps keep my interest. I love the color combinations you used and your setup. I would love to get more updates, because I end up borrowing the books to read. I actually am an audio listener for books.

I just love your reading journal. I markdown whether I read a physical book (p) a kindle book (k) or an audiobook (*) or a novella(n) in my notes. I don’t have a formal journal yet but I’m working on it. I really want one. I did track all my books last year in the notes on my phone but it’s definitely not pretty or fun.

Hi Mary Ellen. Thanks for talking through this video. I love hearing your thought process. You journal pages are really cute. I am excited to follow you during your reading journal for 2025. Question: Do you have a video on how you print the book covers and put them in goggle docs?

Hello! I agree with most of the comments with the talk through videos.. the music ones that people put out seemed really impersonal imo. For getting things directly into the crease without it going over, I usually go over LOL. I don't glue The edge down and leave the last cm or two to be able to bend and I go back with an exacto and tweezers to slice it right in the bend that was made.
