Woohoo!!! Be sure to go see the Kangaroo Farm as you'll be right there. Ahahahaha the gas to fill a pick up would be costly. Ahahahaha Nanaimo bars, Ceasars, butter tarts... Yes, bears are to be taken seriously especially when camping and check forest fire locations!

Poutin is actually traditionally made with chicken gravy. But not some canned stuff, it needs to be made properly starting with the chicken carcass (like stock would be). Often it is made with beef gravy of course, but again, it must be REAL beef gravy, from scratch. :)

Canada Day isn't related to the US's Independence Day FYI. Independence Day is when the US officially broke ties with England and became independent. Canada Day is when we celebrate how 4 provinces joined the other 4 provinces under the British Empire. Canada never broke ties with Britain.

Cannot understand why you don't buy all your clothes shopping in Canada where everything is a third of the price it is over here or less. I've arrived in Canada & the USA to date with almost nothing & returned with fully laden cases of quality new clothing & shoes at bargain prices. Never would I buy beforehand in the UK.
