A nice surprise of a video from my two favorite hardworking people!! The baby is growing sooo fast!! You will find the wool curtains while providing insulation in winter will help filter the sun in summer as well. I've done something similar to shade the Florida sun and it makes a big difference. And finally, don't ever feel you are not doing enough!! Creating a homestead is very hard work and you two have made great leaps!! As I've said before, I am VERY proud of two people I've never met!!

I was so glad to see that you had posted a new video. I love watching your channel. I can't wait to see the garden take off. You have such neat ideas! The baby is so adorable and I can't believe how much she has grown. Being a mom of seven and watching you carry baby in tow, I would offer a few pieces of advise that someone gave to me one time when I was trying to do it all lol. Take one thing at a time, give yourself some grace, and choose your battles. Sometimes it ok to let somethings go , you will eventually get back to it. The best thing that I see your doing is planning and scheduling that is good! Btw you are so beautiful, inside and out! Happy Spring to you and your family!

Lovely update thanks. Think I heard my voice in the background 😂 What a great resource to have on hand with that seaweed, can you take as much as you want? It should make some lovely compost. We’ve talked a bit here about getting goats and started to look into it, I don’t think it will happen this year but to start researching and thinking ‘how’ etc is positive.

Hehe yes!! I thought it was funny to keep it in there, and you might recognise your voice :) Yes, seaweed abundance, as much as you want- but in summertime there is not so much available so only springtime and autumn. Oh yes goats, they are pretty hard-core- the most difficult thing with them is that it's hard to leave the homestead because few people know how to milk them- so always one of has to stay home- Also just good fencing will keep you happy as a goat owner, they ate my strawberry plants yesterday

Water here is not very salty, and with a good shower of rain it's perfect to use :)
