Thank you for this excellent tutorial that opens up possibilities I didn't know existed. I followed it for a Tray tee and it worked fine but when I add a straight section as pipe using the CSQKZ code it looks like tray in the catalogue but when I try and use it in Plant 3D it draws a round pipe. Is there a different procedure for the straight sections?

@@jovanmaharaj1248 I ended up making a coupling and adding as a parametric component to the catalogue & spec. I can then type the length in the property box and the coupling adjusts to suit. It isn't as good as a pipe would be but is the best work around I could come up with. (I tried using grips like on pipe supports too but I couldn't make that work for anything other than pipe supports, not sure if it is disabled for piping components.)

@@philiphartwell4810 That actually does seem like the best work around. Thanks :)

Catalog builder is complete junk - crashes all the time and doesn't allow for block-based component adds - JUNK. This is why CADworx is king.
