This tutorial explains the application of DNA based molecular markers for the selection of determinate hybrid plants that inherit specific genotypes based on molecular markers. The application of PCR based molecular markers is discussed.

All plants in F1 should be intermediate colour. In F2 onwards, segregation can be seen.
