Girlllllll, we are so much alike. I'm a stay at home mama too I have not worked in 5 years, but my kids are older 15, 17. It really does go so fast! I really never leave the house unless I go to the grocery store. I miss people! But love ur videos and glad ur doing better.

I got into the hobby during Covid, but moved twice and then had a baby so I’ve lost a lot of plants along the way and didn’t have the time or energy for them like before. My baby is 2.5 and I’m finally able to give my plants a little bit more attention. Coming back to KZbin’s plant community I’m lost bc so many of channels I used to love are not active, it’s very nice to see you still making great videos. I find them really entertaining and informative! Thank you!

Regarding chunky mix: First of all - what Harley said. 2nd, WEIGHT. Always pick up your plants. You will know whether they need water or not by how light or heavy they are. Takes time but you will get a feeling for it! 3rd, clear nursery pots.

So many things in this video are relatable which I really appreciate. As someone that is home all the time its good to hear other moms talk about things. Not even the hard things, but the good stuff and the emotional things too. When you almost cried over yours going to school, I felt that! So many times they do something that almost makes me cry and I think wtf... this is normal kid stuff why am I emotional lol. I once found a tiny sock and cried a whole day over it lol.

Harli this was a lovely video, nice and chatty. I love listening to lady gaga, miley Cyrus, Bruno mars and I'm 70 this year, married 50 year's. Music is the best and plant's of course. My kid's are up and grown and the best thing a bonus is grandchildren, enjoy you're boys, the day's can be long but the year's are short. Best wishes.. 😊

The Duck Mountains (Blue Lake), as well as Riding Mountain National Park are great for hiking, camping, etc., in Manitoba, Canada. Visit Banff, Lake Louise, Casa Loma in Toronto and of course Niagara Falls 😊. Every Province from East to West is beautiful in their own way. 😊

May 5th girly here 🙂 I am also Canadian, I suggest looking into hiking the Pacific North Coast trail in British Columbia, it does take about a week, but you get to see whales, bears and some of the most beautiful scenery ever! Thanks for your down to earth content.

Hi Harli! I know that you may have info on basic plant care, but would you consider making a video on your current chunky soil mix? Also, can one use Eco Earth coconut chips and compressed from Petco/Petsmart as amendments for soil mix? Only ask because it was recommended.

I totally understand the tears harli. Last month I realized that this might be my last winter with my 3 year old at home with me and his little brother and I went through something, I was so sad and emotional.. It all hit me that my boys are growing up way to fast ❤️

10:19 1,000% agree! I let my kids explore the plants with mommy by their side and never made it a taboo thing. I’ve never had an issue with my kids hurting my plants or getting into mischief with them.

Truly appreciate your videos, I have a handful of plant channels I follow and can relate you so much of what you discuss, life related and plant related both. My daughter is 21 now! and in college.. time does fly, enjoy every minute! Thanks for sharing. As for me, I purchased four nice large pots today and separated my large monstera into two plants and potted up a begonia water propagation, actually, it was 5 water propagations. I hope they make it!

I had the most beautiful lava rock with 10 different pings on it and I got aphids last year!!! I removed each one to make sure I got all those little suckers. I need to redo it…it’s a bare lava rock right now. ☹️ I like the 3rd or 4th spot for the cart. The zero water pitcher is great! Sometimes when you change the filter it leaks on the sides. To fix it, just remove the filter, dry off the threaded area of the filter with a paper towel, then reinstall, giving the filter one more hard twist to the right to complete the seal. I reached out to zero water because I thought the filters were defective. This does the trick! Yellow snow!! Oh no!!! Reminds me of Monsters Inc. LOL

Also I really appreciate the content creator advice seeing as I too have been considering doing some videos and sharing what I have learned taking care of succulents indoors for the past 4 years now. I really love succulents and would love to share with the KZbin world but I’m a bit intimidated to start and don’t know really what I’m doing when it comes to video editing and what software/apps to use that are easy to use. *Sigh* If I could just get over that hurdle I think I could do it. You are fun! If you put a small piece of paper towel on the bottom of the pot, less soil falls out the bottom. I cut up a few sheets into small squares before I pot. Love your take on life in general.

Loving the shirts! OMG Harli is like the best model for their coolness. Today it was warm enough for me go grocery sopping and not doing delivery and just before checking out I found a fresh Goldfish plant just stocked. I know a Goldfish plant isn't exotic or whatever but in winter my Pagoda and lipstick plant bloom and the little fish plant gave me a spark of hope for spring.

Putting plastic shelves in a humid grow tent is a great idea. I have seen people using metal shelves but I would only do that because I already had them.

Honestly I agree with your marriage advice. I think it can be very romanticized which it is romantic but not always and they’re a person and you’re a person and bumps in the road come with that and sometimes it takes just staying there. Obviously I agree that is not all relationships but for a healthy happy one I think it’s great advice. I think I have a new dream to go to Costa Rica now❤️

Such a great video! I am sooooo excited to have a workout video but I have some medical issues so I do things slowly but I love to stretch and move. I have been married since 1989 and sometimes its amazing that my hubby stuck around (it really was in sickness and health) I miss my boys but they have families and now I have 5 incredible grandkids.

Hi Harli! :) omg! living in Europe would be so amazing! I would love to do that for a while too. So, am I remembering correctly that you played soccer? Did you play that in college as well? Getting a workout routine is one of my goals this year, so I would love to watch some stretching and workout videos if you make them! I'm also loving this laid-back vibe of an approach you are talking about, that's my kind of workout! ;) You said "get to know your muscles", would you be able to explain what you are thinking about during every stretch so that I can understand the why behind the stretch and what I should be focusing on?
