My Jibid quotable for the day: "Crafting is about head space as much as it is about results. So enjoy the journey. Think about when you were five and you made mud pies. You know, you weren't making mud pies because you were hungry. It's not really about the results, it's about enjoying yourself. You didn't stress about the result when you were five, don't stress about it now. Just enjoy yourself." WONDERFUL to see your LOVEly face, Jibid! The plant transfers are BEAUTIFUL and I also like the backs of the pages; they are more subtle and you can add lines or keep blank for writing. THANKS for sharing your process with us! :-)

Thanks so much for this video! I really enjoyed watching your methods, and I especially needed that encouragement at the end to enjoy the process. I think I will strive to reclaim that joy that I have had since I was a child crafting with my late mom back in the '50s- making dyes from food coloring and berries and yes, Kool Aid, lol, making glue from flour or cornstarch, using whatever paper scraps we could find around the house and putting together a project just to have the joy of creating something unique and beautiful to enjoy later. Your videos remind me of how much I enjoyed my art projects and experiments before I started comparing my own results with what others online were doing. Looking forward to catching up on more of your older videos that I missed!

Oh Jibid, Jibid! How incredibly inspiring and totally fun to watch and learn! I adore your outside art space and the sounds of peoples laughter and especially the bees buzzing by and those beautiful birds! I even thought I heard a couple I recognized! You are one of the artist in my 'life' that has transformed my thought process when creating, NOT to mention it was YOU who turned me onto eco dying! ( which I dearly love and now plant specifically for that!) Thank you SO VERY MUCH for taking the time out to show us your beautiful ways of creating beautiful pages! How incredibly blessed is the next person to receive the woodland journal! You've lit another fire under me to go and try this process and my head is FULL of new ideas to try along with this technique!! I will try with flowers first and share with you the results! I feel you are such a kindred spirit with your love for nature and your creative spirit! You are a wonderful 'mentor' to me and many others! A beautiful artist and an inspirational one! Always feel blessed after watching your tutorials! Thank you deeply!

Oh my dear, thank you for your gracious gift of sharing. What a lovely natural effect you achieve. Absolutely splendid. You mentioned it not being an actual “transfer”... to my thinking it is a kin to a stenciling process of sorts. My plan is to experiment tomorrow. Plenty of plants in my garden to choose from.... however I live in Oxford, Michigan, USA... we have a lot of wind... that will be a challenge as I enjoy the journey and process!😊 One of my expressions is “Life is a tapestry... embrace the threads!” You are one of the colorful threads in life! Thank you so very much for “weaving” your treasure way via KZbin. Lorraine

Wonderful tutorial Jibid. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. I have found in trying to dye lace with Vintage Photo spray ink it tends to turn pink and it’s not a pretty pink. I sprayed my lace and not wanting it a dark I rinsed it and it turned pink. I can’t wait to try this. I’ve never had any luck transferring paper doilies on my tea dyed papers so I think your tips will help me. I absolutely loved your paper ocean journal. I had never really thought about using colors to dye my papers but it is brilliant. I wish I was as creative as you but you have inspired me to be more creative. Have a lovely day ❤️.

You transported me to England, listening to those wonderful birds, that amazing bee that buzzed past you, just feeling like I was in an English garden. But obviously, watching all those wonderful papers get created was so incredibly inspiring! Don't sell yourself short though, while you might think that the process is super easy, I can tell you have a gentle touch to ensure all the leaves and inks are done just so to create that beautiful effect. That takes patience and attention to detail. Amazing work! Thanks!
