Looking through the responses to your video and I am amazed how most are just focused on your art ( which is beautiful ) but here you are speaking about such deep and moving subject matters and everyone is skipping around in a BuJo field of daisies! As a women of color I just want you to know how much I appreciate you speaking up and bringing these deep subject matters up at the same time you create wonderful spreads! When i was a child, i also used to listen to a lot of books recorded on tapes, usually short stories or tales. Listening to you telling about your childhood made me nostalgic! The book about Western really peaked my interest! I lived in London ON from ages 8-14 and really struggled with misogyny and clique culture there more than I ever have in any city I’ve lived it. I feel like the university’s influence reaches throughout the whole city, not just within the young people attending the school. I’m definitely going to have to add this to my TBR!

I typically don’t journal or take notes while I’m reading unless there’s a specific quote or moment that I want to make sure to remember, in which case I’ll jot it down in a note in my Evernote app since I’m usually reading on my phone. I also write down trigger warnings as I come across them. Otherwise I usually leave it till after I’m done the book to do any longform journaling! ❤️

I love to read, but with the pandemic and my kids being home all day and not really getting chances to be physically tired, it's been so difficult to have time.
