Did you end up figuring it out i know whats the problem and why it takes off on you. You need to loosen up the throttle screw its screwed too tight therefore it takes of without you revving it or accelerating

Hahaha! Sir, your lucky you didn’t hurt yourself! Your handle bars are on backwards which is pulling your throttle cable! Throttle is on the right hand side! Hahaha! I’m glad you are so easy going man!

I’m not giving this guy any credit, because clearly he doesn’t know anything about mini bikes. BUT, I can tell you for a fact that his handle bars are on the correct way and that the video is mirrored. I know this because when he tightens his handle bar bolts at around the 30:14 mark, he’s tightening the bolts, but it looks like he would be loosening them, but clearly that’s not the case. I also know this because his rear hand brake is on the same side as his kickstand and his clutch assembly, just like it should be.

Hey I lost the screws to my handle bars that you were putting on in the beginning of the video. What exact size are those screws because I’ve been trying to find them?

Best thing I can suggest is if you have one take that one to fastenal, lowes or home depot if not then wow I would go to ace hardware and purchase different sizes intil I found the one that fits. Good luck.

@@PlantBasedHomesteadPrepper I got mine, had the loose valve stem like you, on second oil change, backed out the throttle limit screw and moved the governor spring over so its not interfering, getting around 26mph top speed, I was hoping for more but I am 220lbs, look into getting turbine oil for the clutch, has a special long tube to lube it, you take the cover off and follow the manual. Change the oil often in the begining.

Sorry for the delay. The ratchet is a strap system that you use to tie down things on a truck. You have probably seen them on 18 wheelers
