A correction. There are no planted fish. Either they are freshwater or marine. All these fish can live in an unplanted setup. In this setup, plants give the fish more places to hide. (of course, plants have other benefits also). If you are putting them in an unplanted tank, make sure to choose the tank mates properly.

The strong consumption of oxygen during the day can still remain within reasonable limits and not be noticed, since the aquatic plants produce additional oxygen and counteract the effect. ... During the day they produce large amounts of oxygen, but at night they "breathe" oxygen like fish and emit CO2. Have some Additional knowledge also At night we Use :) Oxygen too
