I found a Hiondu rope and a red bromiliad pineapple plant the little flowers on it is purple omg so cute! Home Depot just got a shipment by me but I am in a zone 5 and been having "David shopping trips envy" for awhile now lol.

I gotta be careful too, when I go into a big box store or plant nursery. I say that I'm like an alcoholic going into a bar. I'm gonna come out with something -- hopefully small and not too expensive.

This was pretty cool. I don't like shopping videos unless it's like not a big box store, because they always have the same plants. I wish you would have taken your time with it though. I know that you're with your cousin, but it would have been nice to see like every aisle in order. I think for like shops maybe you should do a walk around for your own entertainment & then do it again while filming. I do appreciate you going to other locations! 💚

Hey beautiful David and yr Family. The Calathea is crispy because it needs more humidity. These beauties come from the bottom of the jungle whereby it is very humid maybe 85 percent or more. Outside has more humidity than indoors, that should save yr Calathea plants. Love Maria.

The one you liked is the “Ctenanthe burle-marxii Amagris” The other version is just Burle-marxii. I have a tiny 2” pot of it but would’ve definitely bought that big one ❤ and I’ve also been looking for the string of frogs 😅

In the Houston area they have been finding the Thai cons for 30$ at the grocery store called Kroger. Check them out if you have one near you. Also you can try water culture with your Calathias to help keep them from crisping.

They have gorgeous calatheas!!! Gorgeous plants!! Welcome to the calathea obsession!! I give mine tap water, I do t va e a humidifier and they are thriving. I just make sure they get a shower and water in between if I’m too tight on time to take them to the shower. Gorgeous gorgeous calatheas! I’d be in so much trouble!
