Hi! Nice video. The camara is excellent. Hubby did an excellent job with filming. My Cebu Blue is great. I did make another plant from the original. It too is doing well. I've had my Cebu Blue for months now. Bought it from Home Depot. 16 dollars. I think it was an 8 inch pot. It is as beautiful now as it was when I first bought it. Yes, it does well in lower lighting both my original and the baby plant. So far the only time I get yellow leaves is when it needs watering. The original I leave up to 2 wks. without watering but the baby plant I water in several days. As Stef Hall says PLANT ON.

Beautiful!!! Mine is just as big such an easy plant. You will be amazed at all the new growth just from trimming it. She may need to be repotted if your not over watering. 😉

Finding a cebu for that price at Home Depot is gold. They are much much harder to find in many areas especially for that price.

Will a younger pot of cebu blue do better and grow faster with higher humidity? Or does it not make a difference? I just got one and I just want it to thrive like yours 😍

Mine are turning yellow too!! I was afraid that I was overwatering it. I put it in a terracotta pot because I was worried. But then it started happening more. So I guess I should be giving it more water. Not less.
@plantheartbeats2 жыл бұрын
In my experience yes, mine has needed more water. If I let it dry completely leaves turn yellow. Hope you find its watering happy place.

Thank u for the info. I was gifted a cebu blue and caring for it. I have about 2 feet long stems so I will be propagating. Can I get a few propagations from one stem? Tfs 🤙🏽🌺

You can use one drop per 100 ml of water of the SuperThrive. That stuff is liquid gold 😍 I use it in everything I prop & potted plants alike. You will be amazed at the difference

My Cebu blue doesn’t like to go bone dry, to the point that they curl. I know it’s popular thing to let other pothos go dry until the leaves curl in but I find my Cebu blues will give 1 or 2 yellow leaves if I do that. The moment i touch them and they are somewhat flimsy I water them, but never drench them since I keep mine in north facing window. They seem happy with that

How big should the plant be before you propagate it?

It’s probably root bound, cebu blue pothos get crazy roots really fast for me and I know that being root bound can cause that yellowing. I think that it’s likely that also because of how the roots are running out of the pot too. They’re just very fast growers.
@plantheartbeats9 ай бұрын
That’s true, thanks for sharing!

I have a small one in a 4 in pot that I recently bought. I let it dry out almost completly and started noticing the yellow leaves. The soil it was bought in almost took 2 weeks to dry out.. I went into panic mode and repotted it. Oops. Maybe that was my fault then for letting it dry out completly. I was thinking root issues because of how long it took to dry out but the roots were fine. Fingers crossed it will bounce back!! I looked at like 4 videos and no one said anything about that. Wish I would have found your video first.

I had mine close to the window at first and a lot of my leaves yellowed and then I moved it further back in the room away from the window and they still turned yellow. I thought I was overwatering so I held back a little bit. They still turned yellow. I don't know what the deal is. I'm getting all new growth, but everything at the top is yellowing.

How frustrating. You think maybe roots are overcrowded and maybe needs a repot?

They are older leaves it's natural that plants shed the leaves by the base of the plant.

That doesn’t look like an epipremnum pinnatum Cebu blue. That looks like a regular epipremnam pinnatum. Cebu Blue has a blue tinge to the leaves.
