Such useful information! I appreciated the editing to show the steps without showing you planting all gajillion of the tulips. It’s going to be such a show next spring!
110 Woodstock Hyacinths! I’d be in heaven. Those are my favorites. Can’t wait to see the display next spring. Love your color palette. I’m all about the orange and purple💜

It is a good day when Danielle has a new video! Thank you so much for sharing your process. I planted about 5,000 mostly daffodil bulbs between my house and my in-law's house last winter for our wedding this spring and that was a lot. I don't know how you do it and make such beautiful videos!

Hi Danielle thanks for taking the mystery out of growing tulips! You're smart to treat them as an annual! Can I plant tulip bulbs now in a pot to get blooms in the spring in zone 6a CT. I'm looking forward to your amazing spring show of blooms! 😍🌷

Hi Danielle, love your videos. When you plant your bulbs in beds for cutting, do you put a border around them? Just wondering if this would allow space to pull them out easier?

I always learn so much from you! Is it time to bring the amaryllis out of dormancy? Mine are still in pots in the basement. Should I repot them in fresh potting soil?

Hi Danielle. Love our channel !! I've learned so much since I started watching you last spring. I am brand new to planting bulbs and I live in Ontario, Canada - zone 5b. I didn't really understand the part about dead heading the flower and letting the flower and leaves die back naturally to help the tulips perennialize. How can you do that if you're planning on cutting and selling them ? Or can you cut the flower and only leave the leaves to die back naturally ? Thanks for any more info that you can offer. Daffadils are my favorite so I can't wait to see your next video too !!!
@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardensКүн бұрын
Hi friend! If I’m trying to perennialize tulips I would not cut and sell those flowers. I would enjoy the show in the garden and then deadhead the spent blooms. My apologies if I did not explain that well.

Hello I noticed that you did not use any bulb tone or fertilizer, why? and will you do that later?

Just what I needed. Treating them as an annual would work for me. I'm not too fond of their unsightly foliage when they're done blooming.

Off topic. I just realized I didn't plant all my Dahlia. The tubers are good and have three inch long green shoots. What are my options? Please help

12,000 bulbs!!! That will be quite the show. In Australia that would cost me between $36,000 - $60,000 AUS. I probably wouldn’t even be able to source any where near that many. I’ve also never seen such huge bulbs, the ones I get here are a fifth of the size. Being in a Mediterranean climate they don’t do well.

When you plant all those tulips, are you particular about how the bulb is dropped into the hole? Are you concerned about whether it actually is pointy side up or sideways?
@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardensКүн бұрын
Hi friend! Most bulbs will correct themselves. The only one I would be concerned about is the crown fritillaria. Those bulbs are prone to rot and do best when planted on their side.
