Thanks Kevin! You made quick work of planting that burning bush. I like that razor edged shovel, i have so many roots in my soil my regular shovel has trouble penetrating.

Thank you for continuing to upload content. *I personally don't use fabric as well EXCEPT for rocks. Is that just your preference or is there a reason not to install landscape fabric under rocks specifically?

It is mostly preference. For the expense, I don’t feel fabrics offer reasonable long-term weed control. Sediment can build up quickly on the fabric (underneath the rock) where weed seeds can germinate anyway. But I’m always working in my yard and staying ahead of the weeds, so I understand the use of barriers. I also feel like some plants struggle to establish because of poly/fabrics, yet I don’t have a list of plants to back up this assumption.
