If it is a "matinik"variety of bamboo,it has high demand,it's bamboo shoots is good too,the "kawayang tsina"or Chinese bamboo is harder and it's good for building fish cages etc, bamboo called "bayog" is very strong, high demand for use in small boat building as it's floater beam, I think the one that he planted is the "taywanak" as we call it here in Quezon province,it is a low quality bamboo good for short term use only and easily attack by wood or bamboo mites called "bukbok".

During my grandparents time (if your house is situated near the river), they used to plant bamboo trees near the river banks to avoid soil erosion. Bamboo plants do have a very strong roots. Bamboo shoots also taste very delicious with coconut juice + salted fish, mixed with native chicken or a pork or whatever you like.

Bamboo has alot of silica, which is what helps with callogen for healthy skin. You also need to make sure you get enough vitamin b1 (thiamine) in your diet because silica is known to deplete that.

Careful when you plant bamboo. Make sure you plant only cluster bamboos; not the running bamboos. The latter can be hazardous since they're very difficult to control and may cause problems such as possibly running under electric lines/poles/waterlines, etc. You dont want that.

I have been watching your videos for a while, Darlene you mentioned that you thought you looked a little chubby and that got me thinking, I do alot of research and studying regarding health issues and signs and symptoms since I am battling my own health issues for over 5 years now. I don't mean to alarm or offend you, just genuinely trying to be helpful just in case and my last intention would be to cause you any worry. For people struggling with a sluggish thyroid they may have trouble losing weight and it can cause a variety of symptoms. I noticed one of your eyes appears to be slightly different from the other eye, so it took a while to figure out what could be contributing to that specific sign. Myasthenia gravis can affect the eye and it can be very mild for most of your life. Again I'm just a researcher, not a doctor but I thought I should finally say something. I am not saying I am correct, it can be something else entirely. I wish all the best of health!
@islandlifebd12 сағат бұрын
Hi. Thank you for your concern and information. I never thought I had a problem with my health, but people also notice that one of my eyes is bigger. I have Marcus Gunn Syndrome so I thought that's why my other eye is bigger than the other. I have tried to find a doctor in our area but to no avail. I will definitely have it checked when I go to the city.
@valerykalkey11 сағат бұрын
@@islandlifebd Markus Gunn Syndrome sounds alot better prognosis for sure. Perhaps false alarm from me, there are so many conditions that appear similar in some ways. I live in United States, even here you can fall between the cracks and can be difficult to get a proper diagnosis because of limited time with doctor visits and general lack of empathy from some doctors.
