Planting Basil at Renaissance Farm

Mark Olson and his sisters Nikki Olson and Tanya Ryan of Renaissance Farm plant a field of basil using a Holland Transplanter for the first time. We learn about planting and irrigiation methods to keep weeds to a minimum. Mark tells us a "dirty little secret" about farming.

I enjoyed watching this. I grow a couple acres of veg for restaurants and coops too. If I have a chance I will record our transplanting, we use a similar machine to plant squash, tomatoes, and broccoli in CA. thanks! -AJ
