No dust erosion, that soil is protected. Armored up to stay in place against heavy rains or strong wind...good work!

That 12row is perfect size for those smaller wedged fields. He's moving right along. Thanks Mike 👍🏻.

The clover is a good nitrogen fixer for the corn. Awesome video. Keep them coming Mike...

I think I would have opted to cut and bale the clover first and then planted corn but he probably has a reason for doing it this way and its his field and his business. LOL Thanks Mike !

@@chrisjohnson4666 He could sell it, i've seen farmers that bale clover hay, similar to alfalfa.

@Bowhunters6go8xz6x most farmers are in a rush during planting season trying to beat the rain... There's a point it's more trouble than. It's worth to mow it and other farmers in the area are probably in the same boat... that organic matter will be wonderful for the soil...

@@chrisjohnson4666 I grew up on a dairy farm and we grew a lot of our own feed for our cows. and that did cross my mind, as I said to Mike they probably had their reasons. On our farm we would have baled it for winter hay and we are just guessing why they didn't.

I would have taken the clover for balage first. and can mechanical means be used to disturb the clover so as to do an 'Organic' crop (instead of the chemical knock-down), like for a silage crop?

Mike, you have to get a bad comment, so the green of the tractor clashes with the blue of the planter! LOL

I think you need to elaborate on "burning off the clover". Does that mean spraying it off to kill it or what?

You said it mike cant make them all happy. I know that farm personally, just down the road from me It's a farm that will greatly benefit from extra organic matter. There were many different species of cover crops planted after combining oats last summer just for that purpose and a longer cover crop growing season. But everyone else know better usally.
