I love bioactive! No smell and always clean except for when they poop on the glass😊. I have a leopard gecko and 2 day geckos in separate enclosures.

I'm a huge fan of having a natural look for pets for some reason. I'm slowly getting rid of the plastic pieces in my gerbil enclosure and switching to more wood. I love checking out the veiled chameleon and leopard geckos at the pet store. Maybe someday, lol. Only dapple with reptiles at work. Tried putting microgreens in my hermit crab enclosure of course the idea for them to have microgreens is for them to eat them. This is giving me some inspiration. Love it Jaclynn.

Me too, cork bark is great for that because it doesn't rot or mold like wood can. Chameleons are not an easy pet, unfortunately. RIP Dexter Bob 🥲 geckos are super easy. Snakes are even easier!! But I definitely recommend a breeder over the pet store. Daisy was a Petco reacue, just bc I fell in love with her, and it broke my heart to see her there for weeks. But the animals at pet stores dont tend to be as healthy. We got lucky with her!! Hope your babies love the microgreens!!!

@@jaclynns.jungle if I were to go with a reptile it would definitely be a gecko first. We just have a lot of geckos that run wild down here. I just love how cool the chameleons look. I read their care when I started thinking about it and definitely have to be experienced. They loved them. Definitely digged through the microgreens atleast

@@jaclynns.jungle Rune has been crazy ever since I got back from Connecticut, can’t handle him at all any more. He darts around like a complete wackadoodle every time I feed him. Pretty sure he’s wanting to breed…….or just wants to be free. Who knows.

Adorable geckos! The geckos seems to be in a "😮" state 😅 Reptiles are lovely and yours are adorable and wouldn't mind seeing more of them amist (I think that is a english word? 🙈) the plant content Good to get an update too!

They're definitely freaked out when I wake them up during the day, lol. Usually, we handle them at night since they're nocturnal! And that is a word, yes 😂 just not one folks use often 😉

@@jaclynns.jungle Oh I know 😁 Got two cresties (male and female, they do live nearby but not in the same terrarium) & a bearded dragon. Am glad to hear that 😁 still managed to make me snicker at their expressions! Also, be sure to get two colonies of isopods btw :) That way you might be prepared for moments of typical gecko 🙈 and have a colony to borrow from when the geckos do “accidentally” hunt and goobles the cleaning crew up 😅 Ah, it was a word? Good! 😁 (being tiiiired and ain’t having english as my first language is at time a bit wonky 😏)

I loved this video, I've been waiting for it. I think my favorite plant in there is the button fern. I lost my beardie about 3 wks ago. I've decided not to get another one. I had him about 8 yrs. The only reptile i have now is my gargoyle gecko. Snipe ( beardie) had a large enclosure. At first i thought i'd move Lightfoot (garg) into it. But it really is too big. So i think it will become a terrarium. I have an 18"x 18"x 18" enclosure i originally bought for her. She is presently in a 20 gal aquarium. Now i feel inspired to get moving on this. Love your setup. BTW, Lightfoot is colored like Norman.

I am more of the exotic pet type person. I have 5 parrots, all adopted, not bought. Your wee lizzies are adorable. If I didn't already live in a household with many pets, I would get one myself, but I think I already have my hands full. There are also 3 cats and a dog, so yeah. Hands are full.

Yes, we love reptiles here! We also have 4 snakes! And of course, 2 cats as well!! If you want a low maintenance reptile to add to your home, I'd actually recommend a snake!! Or if you want a fun bioactive terrarium with low maintenance pets, frogs are also a great choice! The geckos ate very easy too thoigh, they only eat every 3 days, and with them being bioactive, the most I'll do is spot clean here and there!! 😊

I love that!! She was a rescue, so we definitely just added her to our home because we love her!! We had no idea what her morph was, but of course, she looked dalmatian! 🥰

@@jaclynns.jungle I also got Elrik as a rescue of sorts, the breeder was getting rid of all their geckos. Elrik is a complete jackass and attacks me and bites me like no one’s business, which is so unheard of for cresties so I don’t know what his previous life was like to make him so defensive:(
