Nice selection of fruit trees Alex. This is an interesting project that you are undertaking. It looks like you are further north than I am. Is there a functional reason why you planted berry bushes with each tree? I have lots of deer in my area so I put fencing around the fruit trees that I planted. I am looking forward to how things turn out.

Couple reasons for the berry shrubs, eventually they should bring shade to the tree trunk to protect against sun scalding, trying to attract birds to eat the bad insects in the orchard, gives me more products to offer to future customers and berries are delicious!
