Hello and happy new year to my English friends who bought a farm in Portugal! I watch your videos from a stationery store in Buenos Aires, and I envy you so much.😇 I'm locked up all day and your videos open a fresh and fun window into a life full of nature. I hope you continue to have a good time and know it, yours is a privilege in this crazy world. Greetings and see you always, because I will continue to watch the videos that you upload. P.S. Do something so that no more water enters the tool room and the garage. translated by google, because my english is as good as your portuguese 😀

I wish I had watched videos like this when we moved to Nebraska, USA 15 years ago and my mother-in-law had me take over her garden. She looked out her bedroom window and said, "oh my, I have never seen so many weeds in my life." The next year I did much better but had very little to show for it. I am not a dedicated farmer. We have since moved back to Oregon, live in a condo, and visit a local produce farm for fresh vegetables and fruit. It's only a couple miles drive.

I “studied” permaculture in California over 10 years ago and I didn’t fully understand it thank you for showing us practical real life permaculture how it’s done! Would you be able to feed yourselves mostly from this garden once it’s more mature? Or would it supplement your food supply?

I saw you making orange juice, is good but be careful about it because the sugar in the orange goes very fast in your body and the sugar goes high rapidly and the best is to eat the orange alone, count how many oranges you need to have a glass full is a lot the doctor told me that even when I don’t have diabetes. Is my humble advice 😊

Have you had any luck sourcing a Szechuan pepper yet? If not (and if it's any use) there is a nursery in France that lists both Zanthoxylum schinifolium and Z.simulans, although it looks like only simulans is in stock at the moment (Euros 19). Not sure if they deliver though, which might mean a road trip. 🛻 I'll keep an eye out for you for other continental European suppliers 👀- there must be some in Spain or Portugal surely? Very excited to see you planting Apios americana as a crop plant. There was me thinking it was only an ornamental!!
