Question- do you make a list of the plants, fertilizers that are used in your videos somewhere ? I know you verbally announce what you plant. Especially looking forward to ones more with Plant Care and Maintenance, deadheading, how to groom certain ones , Favorite brand of fertilizers, favorite garden tools, cute garden gifts you have found.

We love the birds too. My bird feeders are usually full of different birds sharing their perch to eat. I think it's so amazing that they will do that. To date we have about 3 hummingbirds as well. Last year we counted about 7-8. Does the millet grass come in seed? I need to go to our local Feed N Seed store to get some. Will it grow in zone 8, (Georgia)?

What is your soil mix for the top? Also is the entire bed filled with potting soil or just the top?
@TheLawrenceGardenFarm4 жыл бұрын
We had it in a new top layer of a garden mix soil which is a topsoil and compost mixed together, Usually you can just use composter to amend the soil but the dirt in our bed settled a lot so we wanted to fill them up a little bit more. We just mix in potting soil with the garden mix soil we added

oh oh, it looks like Fuzzy is using the strawberry bed to do her business! How do you deal with this Casey? My cat does the same thing and I just go out and pick up the #2, whenever I see a new mound.
@TheLawrenceGardenFarm4 жыл бұрын
She normally doesn’t do that, but if she does continue I will try putting a litter box outside for her

I love how you work so hard to teach your girls the science of nature and you take the time and allow the inconvenience of letting them do the jobs you are doing (even though it must get messy and take longer). You’re wonderful examples!

Me as well I'm thinking roughly 100 plants baskets and garden. We had over 4 inches of rain and so much wind. Hoping everyone's gardens are good.

My plants got wind whipped and sun scorched. Last year this time they were hit by hail ... twice! They recovered beautifully. Am praying the same this year.

Yay! Thanks for the inspiration Casey.🌸 Are you guys using different tomato cages this year? I'm still not sure what's the best thing to use in our new raised bed.
@TheLawrenceGardenFarm4 жыл бұрын
We will probably do what we did last year, use the same cages, just for two of the plants. we will drive 5 foot stakes through the cages into the raised beds, Probably three of them for each cage that will keep the cages anchored
