Lovely! Do vendors provide stakes with the standard when it's shipped? Also, how far down should I bury the roots in a 20 inch container? I won't have the same clay soil concerns, is there such an issue as planting a standard too deep?

I’ve heard negatives about rose trees. Obviously you seem to like them. Could you talk about the differences in growing them long term compared to a normal rose bush? Do they live just as long or have unique health risks?

@@TheRoseGeek thank you! I had heard when I first got into roses that standards are prone to frost damage easier and are a nightmare to keep pruned into proper shape and that it wasn’t worth it so I always disregarded them. Seeing you grow them has made me question that
