Thanks Daniel, we find when you get things right in the soil life starts to become easy, as you know. I looked into the Sea-90 vs azomite and I am leaning towards the Sea-90. Now I need to search local suppliers to see if I can get it in larger amount and hopefully a cheaper price. I hate to pay shipping, and right now that is my only option.

Shalom Acres - Well think of it like food, azomite is like grain, and sea-90 is like fruit. The fruit provides quick access energy but goes away quickly, and the grain eventually does very similar but over a longer period of time. I don't think you would go wrong by using both in moderation if it's an option for you. About ordering out, amazon has lots of free shipping, though some of their suppliers do charge shipping fee, it will be listed when your looking at the item. I think they have big bags of azomite, around 40 lbs for around $50. I'm unsure on the shipping of that specific item though, as every vendor can be different, but it's worth looking into. They also have sea-90, but I'm not sure how big their bags are, maybe up to 5 or 10lbs bags, and like I said, most of their items are free shipping when you purchase $35 or more from amazon. Shalom!

What a true blessing!!! I'm so very happy for you and your family. Just a thought, magnesium is a mineral our American soil is extremely low in, but the solution is cheap, magnesium sulfate is sold as a foot soak powder, I'm using it this year and a bag costing under $7 is more than enough for a 20' x 30' garden, please research it when you have time ... can be added to water for easy application.

s fetterly - we are a believer in it, planning to apply it just before the next rain on all our gardens, worm (hay) area and around our fruit trees.

Love the videos, please keep them coming, worms are a great addition and a sign you're doing very well by your soil. Have you planted any Jerusalem artichokes??? I've been considering buying some, but Upstate New York is tough on new plantings and I have no experience with them.

s fetterly - we are happy to see the worms also! We have a small patch of Jerusalem artichokes (4'x4'). From my dealing with them you can't go wrong, very hardy and they are self planting. When you dig them in the fall you never get all the tumors and they come back up in mid spring. Since they can be evasive plant we buried a 4'x4' tote in the ground to keep them contained. It has worked for 2 years. Last year the sheep and cows got out and both loved the leaves on the plants also. I hope this helps?

Where did you get the tumeric to start with?
@ShalomAcres7 жыл бұрын
Jennifer - we purchased it from an organic store called Azure Standard. They ship to our area once a month by truck.
