Homing thristle is in general-especially when paired up with already op spearmint-extremely op 1st It can hit zombies in every lane and it is not weak 2nd Plant food effect can be useful against both multiple targets and deals a ton of damage against a singular targets (like the end game gargantuars or zomboss etc.) 3rd Plant a couple of sun producers, use your spearmints, place 2-3 homing thristles and voila, you got yourself the setup to pretty much defeat every non mini game lvl
