Yeti and Royal Hypno Flower are literally the same style of boss, since they can both manipulate their teammates, including enemies. They're also bosses, obviously.

The only difference is that the yeti originated in the original PVZ, in fog 10, story 2. He appears in that stage, thereby the theme. RHF didn’t come out until GW I believe, but BITH are bosses in that game
