I have been watching your videos since day one and I cannot tell you how enough how You have grown in front of the camera. I’ve learnt so so much and bought plants that you share. You’re magnificent in what you do and celebrate You in your success with your plant journey. I get upset when your videos are finished. Continue your journey and I will be here rooting you on. ❤❤

I just purchased a baby variegated anthurium Vittarifolium and I’m sooo excited to see her mature! I took her out of the container it was in to check out the roots, then put it back in and stuck it on my East facing windowsill in my bathroom. Hoping it’ll grow quickly!

I love the way you chat about plants. & when you mentioned family. Sometimes, I feel this way so bad. Like, I just wanted to brake away from mine. Because to the point is making me sick & the endless drama. I can really get away from it. I wanted it so bad. Then, when I do it finally, then after words, I feel guilty . I'm not sure if I'm the only one feeling this way. But I can relate with what you are trying to say. ❤

I do pure alcohol to spray Hoyas down for mealy bugs. It dries faster when not mixed with water in my experience. Also, Hoya Bella (2 different variegated and 1 green) all shocked when I got them from different sellers. They are also a little harder to rehab.

Dang, I really need to hear you say that about plant burnout. I have been just so overwhelmed with my plants lately, and I need to water so bad. Thanks for the reminder to take it easy. ❤

I had a krimson queen that put out five white leaves. All white. I had to back to behind the last variegated leaf, cutting off the last variegated leaf to get new leafs and some green. It worked. Took a while to put out a new leaf. But it did and it was variegated! Now it’s putting out a vine with variegated leaves on it.

I’m sorry to hear about your family relationship. I would never share personal things on social media I completely support that we aren’t here for that, but plants anyways right? You’ve made a great life for yourself and your husband relish in it my friend because that is all that matters.

Because of time difference, I am drinking my morning coffee in my green jungle, it is dark and cold in Sweden. Enjoyable banter is always nice. P.S love your cats and your plants. ❤😾had birmas for many years, last one died in 2019. Thank you for answering my question on pink variegation. You inspired me to buy a Philodendron Pink Princess and test it. Listening to you, was like listening to myself🙀

I just ordered more from. Gabriella’s plants thru have the best selection and their plants are great. The packaging is superb, bar none. I think there’s 3-4 Hoyas coming in t)e mail. They also deliver to the door.

I started out using miracle grow with soil moist in it. That helped to keep the soil moist not something that we want. Then a mix with fox farm mixed with leca, coarse perlite. Plus charcoal, and orchieta and coarse fir bark and other things I can’t remember. Quit using a peat based soil I now use coco coir, cocoa husk, bark, charcoal and coarse perlite? There’s orchiata too.

I have found that I am having success with removing mealies by using a spray of alcohol and peroxide and Castile soap mixture and water sprayed every 10 days or so. Not finding as many, getting less and less finally.
