Declutter With Me | Sorting Through 421 Sticker Books!

Last fall I went through my sticker books and gave about 125 books to my Sister and Niece with a big huge bag stuffed full of Washi Tape, Then there were boxes of pens and markers and Accessories! After that I did another destash and have it here to sell or give away. I feel like I need to go through it again too. Also I have gone through my entire house from one end to another and have given away Bags and Bags and Bags of stuff and it feels SOOOOO good! I think my house is thanking me too! As I’m watching I’m trying to come up with something for sticker books like the one in one out rule. Something to streamline the quantity a bit easier. Or something like the cloths closet thing where you turn all hangers around and if haven’t worn that item in 6-12 months it’s easy to give away. It’s so hard when the happy planner comes out with more than one theme almost every month Another thought when you have a hard time getting rid of a book because of that feeling or memory of the page you made. Sometimes it’s about what hormones we have in the moment. Maybe ten days from now it would be easier or harder lol. Fun watching your destach. Great tips. Especially the one to look at what you want final outcome to be. We often forget that part

I totally agree! It’s hard when you love certain sheets and they come in a full book. I wonder if the rule can be - if I wanted to use stickers with this theme, would I use this book or pass it over? That’s the rule I used for my bedroom closet- if I needed to wear a black shirt, would I wear this one or not? I got rid of half my closet that way

I loved watching this video. I've been destashing my stickerbooks for 9 months. I've also been really looking at each stickerbook before purchase to gage whether or not I'll actually use it, instead of buying because it's pretty. I'm finally at a place where I realize that I don't NEED everything that is released. Thanks for being absolutely transparent once again! ❤

My dad took a full truckload of stuff to the dump for me today! Bye bye clutter! I always watch Dana K White and Cas with Clutterbug to get motivated. We are finishing our basement and have to declutter every single item of clothing and toys our kids have outgrown. It is a LOT!

A couple weeks ago I told my daughters to grab all the sticker book boxes and we were going to do a “brutal declutter” round one. I got rid of a few hundred sticker books. Unfortunately, I still have more than I got rid of, so round 2 needs to happen soon. I feel like this is the year we’re all decluttering and realizing we have too much of everything. In some cases way too much (pointing at myself).

Last year, I made the decision that sticker planning was becoming too stressful for me, and didn't fulfill me the same way it used to (plus, I changed to hourly layout from vertical)...that being said, I had been collecting HP sticker books since 2016, so my collection was INSANE. I ended up selling the lot for $50, sold to a lovely woman who was SO EXCITED to get the collection. I have a few books left (I forgot they were there), and it felt so freeing to be rid of the books and to have the space back. A small part of me regrets it, but the rest knows it was the right move.

I imagine creators get a ton of free items from sticker companies that we all pay to get our stickers items from. So I can understand clearing out the weight of stickers, planners , washi tape. It must be overwhelming. Let it go.

I have a lot of stickerbooks too and a lot of them really have a lot of useless stickers in it. There are a lot of stickers I really wonder if anyone actually is using them 😂
