This is going to sound very weird... But I've always liked the song "Together Again" by Janet Jackson. I didn't realize it until I heard this remix of yours that, well, I think the reason I like it is because it sounds like Bridge Zone. If I'm not mistaken, it may even be in the same key. But the percussion you used in this remix definitely helped me sync it up mentally. Anyways, great job!

Well that would certainly explain things, then. And it makes me seem a little less crazy for linking the two. On a side note, what is it with the Jacksons and Sonic music? Bridge Zone and Janet, bits and pieces of Sonic 3 and Michael... It does explain why I developed a taste for pop music in the 90's, I suppose.

So obviously Janet Jackson's together again was inspired by the Bridge zone melody, but did you know that swedish artist Håkan Hellström has a song that sounds very similar to this song also? It's called "Känn ingen sorg för mig göteborg" (Don’t feel sorry for me Gothenburg). I find it kinda funny that Janet Jackson was inspired by this song and Håkan was most likely inspired by Together Again, some fun trivia for ya!

Never rly played any Sega titles yet love this music! Can only imagine how great it was.
