Ici au Québec, Plastic Bertrand a été une véritable frénésie qui a duré de ses tout débuts ("Ça plane Pour Moi") dans les années 70 jusqu'à la fin des années 80 début 90 rendu dans le domaine de la "DANCE" en duo avec un DJ dont je ne me rappelle pas du nom! Ici, "Stop Ou Encore" en 1980 a été un incontestable succès "récité" par tout le monde peu importe l'âge!...

Mais le passage télé le plus mythique de Plastic Bertrand chantant cette chanson est celui réalisé dans l'émission de Danièle Gilbert "Midi Première" du 22 avril 1980 où il y a une panne d'image en plein milieu de la chanson, et où on voit "Dans quelques instants, la suite de notre programme" s'afficher à l'écran, suivi d'un très court documentaire animalier puis retour du direct de l'émission de Danièle Gilbert où Plastic Bertrand reprend la chanson là où elle avait été interrompue ! ça c'était des émissions en direct !
