Only bit of kit I have is the calipers and the chopper2. That mini table saw is sick. Did you get that out of SPC?

Thank you. I want to make it fast, but it's not easy for many reasons. Still, I'm making it steadily, so please wait for the next EP. ;)

Also I notice how you use the solvent to like tack things together while you shape them with the file. How do you get them stable and then apart again? Whenever I try that either I don’t wait long enough and they slide all over or I wait too long and can’t get them apart clean after-

I'd suggest you use LOCTITE 401 like instant glue. can be fixed relatively quickly and also less need to sanding after separating parts. ;) and What's SPC?

Thanks! that's something I'm not used to. If you're looking for a table saw for modeling, I'd like to recommend this. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Proxxon+37006+KS+115+Bench+Circular+Saw&_sacat=0&_sop=15

HA! ... When you said "a new kind of challenge" I knew the next thing was going to be a mech! ;) I don't like the design that much (I'm very picky with mechs) but I'm very interested to see how you're going to build it. I think nobody has done such an in depth build of a mech on YT before and it will be a good lesson. Looking forward to the series and by the end I might be able to start working on this guy: watch?v=sipsGedlb5w I like it so much I really want one sitting in my shelve :)

I love that model, too. Of course, I became his fan a few years ago. other 3D works were really cool!! If you actually make a model, please show it to me. :)

11:16 step missing.... part is white, then POOF finished grey. how? paint I would assume
@onthezero
@onthezero 5 жыл бұрын
That's right. I finished sanding and painted "GSI Creos surfacer". just editing. :) In fact, I edited a video of painting every time I finished one part, not just that part(11:16). because I thought it would be a little boring(Well, my video is a little boring. HaHa). If this series continues, there will be an episode that focuses on painting. I'll deal with it in detail then.

I really like your models, congratulations. Doyou remember where did you buy it? Here in my country the only easy to find material is expanded polystyrene wich is really awful.
@paulofeliznariz
@paulofeliznariz 4 жыл бұрын
Oh, and this brush glue, do you remember the brand or type?
@onthezero
@onthezero 4 жыл бұрын
Fortunately, I bought styrene sheets cheaply at the model shop where I live. it's relatively cheap and there is no problem. Some of my friends like you often say that it is difficult or expensive in their country, so I knew about that problem. But, I also don't know a better solution. I recommend finding the largest size you can get. If it is difficult, I think it's the next best thing to find them on eBay or Amazon. Of course, the price is a little more expensive.
