I'm all for less plastic, but there was no reason they couldn't have made the new line like the comic book series or the SDCC exclusives. They have no plastic in them but still allow you to see the figure

There’s still plastic in the comic book exclusives. I’m sure they could have done a flip front or something though that allows you to see the figure. But then that’s extra engineering and in box collectors still can’t display it seeing the figure. They were in a lose-lose position, to be fair.

I’m still not convinced. I do like the PFP but I need to get my hands on it first before I make a proper judgement!

Honestly, once you have it in hand it’s not so bad

I haven't bought any black series figures since they stop plastic packaging.
