(nurse here) - if you're leaking fluid with a rotten/rancid smell, especially THREE WEEKS after surgery, PLEASE go to the emergency room immediately. The smell is the least of your worries, because that is a serious soft tissue infection and you need antibiotics ASAP. Particularly post-surgery, it could even be something like Necrotizing Fasciitis which is extremely serious.

As a person who's had a big butt my entire life, a bidet is not gonna cut it. You have to cleanse all the way up to the top of your butt crack after a poop. Preferably with a washcloth and soap, but at minimum with flushable wipes. When you bathe, you have put one foot on the ledge of the tub hold that heavy butt cheek and SCRUB! Two or three times! And dry thoroughly or you'll get fungus.

I think it might have a lot to do with them not being used to it, too. Like they don't know how to take care of it, because their routines are centered around their natural butt and the needs they hade before their bbl. They might not realise how much more effort it takes to fully dry it after a shower, or that not doing so could possibly make you smell. There's also the aspect of sweat and discharge, of course that will be different from person to person, but if they do sweat in any mention-worthy capacity or have a lot of discharge... They'll suddenly need to put more effort into taking care of that too, big butts just move in a way that'll make that move further and further. 😂 I think it's a combination of things that all kind of boils down to them not realizing they gotta change up their routines significantly. -Sometimes it's poop, sometimes sweat or discharge, sometimes they've left it damp after a shower, sometimes the nails don't match the butt. Ooooor all of the above. 😅

Gross, personal cleansing hygiene needs to be taught in schools because a lot of adults unfortunately still don't know how to thoroughly wash themselves. Well, offer a different solution instead of being overly reactive to my comment. It was a thought. What are some other thoughts on how personal hygiene can be learned if some parental figures aren't teaching it. Being a Nurse for 18 years, l can attest to a lot of bad hygiene, those really long nails, along with being overweight or even BBL. All people should take better care and precautions to prevent an infection in their vaginal area or even under the testicular area. I am only giving some of what l had gone through. I am in no way making fun or disrespecting anyone. There are some people who don’t have access to daily baths or showers. Please if you have this problem , see a Doctor for further assistance.

Hey folks, american plumber here, we are happy to install a variety of butt cleaning devices like bidets. Baby wipes will clog the sewer system, even if they claim to be flushable. As a side note, a supplement of psyllium husk gives you smooth clean poops and makes wiping fast.

As a woman with a naturally large butt, I already have to spend extra time cleaning there to make sure I’ve got everything. Wet wipes come with me everywhere I go. I can’t imagine what it’s like with injected fat, which is less flexible and also injected in places where it wouldn’t always go naturally. BBL’s have been glorified to such a point that we forget the actual health hazards that come with this invasive surgery.

I got a bidet I installed myself when we had the C-19 “toilet paper shortage”. Best purchase I ever did - and I haven’t had any procedures on my body! Sure wish one of the many caregivers, physical therapists, etc who worked with my husband who was disabled for 5 years had suggested that instead of stupid spray water bottles, as getting clean was always a big issue. And the insurance he had would have paid for it! I’m over 70 and this big bottom craze amazes me because we wore girdles to make ours look smaller.

I am 28. When I was growing up the mainstream beauty standard was very skinny. I remember the ultra low rise bottoms n the girls in the magazines would have no belly fat at all. (Unfortunately I’d pay attention to how the clothes looked on their body compared to mine). I was picked on for developing early & I remember trying to do everything I could, healthy or not, to achieve a size 00 or to stop my hips from being big or my boobs from growing. That was all of my childhood and much of my adolescence. transition to big butts being “in” in pop culture wasn’t until I was in college. I grew up most of my life believing my body was everything it SHOULDN’T be no matter how hard I tried it wasn’t gonna be “right”. Then it felt randomly like one day I began being told things like “you’re so lucky!!” “You literally have the perfect body” “No matter what I do I can’t gain weight”. It was such a mindfuck honestly!!! I am still really dealing with addressing the trauma from believing my body was wrong. Like nobody’s body is wrong. I mean it’s a body, everybody’s got bad shit we don’t like about it. But it is sooooooooooo fucked up & not okay that mainstream media does everything they can to imprint that message on young girls.

I used to be a treatment nurse, and I would have female patients who with large breast who were usually ending up with fungal infections under the folds of their breasts. This occurred especially during the summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar occurrs with BBLs. Like right in the crevass between the cheeks. If you’re not drying properly after a shower, if you’re prone to sweating a lot, wearing tight bottoms and etc…it probably makes you higher risk for fungal infections.

I have D-Cups and a bubble booty. My breasts are still perky because I don't have children, and my behind is natural. Never had any surgeries or injections EVER. I do still sweat, though. What helps is that I stand in front of a fan for a few minutes after I dry off when I get out of the shower. I also stay in front of the fan while I'm putting on my underwear or shape wear. I never allow myself to get sweaty while while I'm getting dressed. I'm in my 40's and I've been doing this since I was a teenager. As a result, I've never gotten any breakouts or fungus infections in those areas. It really is all about hygiene and being proactive. I figured out early on that once you put your clothes on while sweaty, then you're going to have issues for that entire day. The fan solution was just common sense. I also NEVER jumped on the trend of having super long nails. That's obviously an impediment to keeping proper hygiene. The women that are having these issues with bad BO are being careless or lazy with their hygiene or they're having se× with a dirty guy that's giving them infections, or it could be both situations going on.

Wipes are not supposed to be flushed even if it says they are. What I do is keep a bottle of witch hazel and just wet some toilet paper with it and use that as a finish up after wiping. It is the main ingredient in some wipes for back there for irritation so it is safe to use a little on toilet paper and you can then flush it.

Any new pungent smell that comes from your body after having surgery, coming from the area of surgery, screams infection. Clean wounds don't have much smell other than a slight metallic smell from your blood or cleaning supplies. If your wound looks angry AND smells (in any case, not just a bbl), see a Doctor for some help asap for antibiotics and see if your flesh is dying. The sooner the help, the better. It's your body, spend some money to make it look nice, spend some more to keep it from falling apart. Just be careful and keeps your nostrils clean for the smelly smells

My daughter had hernia surgery when she was four and their wasn’t a proper drainage which caused an infection. I'm a massage therapist and have come across the BBL smell before many times, but not in people with BBL's, strangely enough. Most often I come across it when someone has either just worked out, is morbidly obese, or it's very warm weather and the table heater heats the client up and accentuates the smell. It can stem from wiping/cleaning issues, as you said before, in morbidly obese clients who cannot reach there. Most often it emanates from skin folds, especially the butt crack and the place at the top of your thighs right below the butt cheeks in individuals who work out in synthetic materials like Spandex where the skin cannot breathe as well. It can often be eliminated using antibacterial soap. So yeah... a hygiene thing. Not sure which variant is worse tbh.

I have always had a big butt n never struggled with odors. However I am now heavier than I have ever been before in my life after a depressive episode I put on about 50lbs. the last several months it has been a transition having to acknowledge that i need to pay special attention to areas where there are skin folds if that makes sense. I wasn’t like stanking up the place or anything n I’m not even talking about my butt crack or anything to do with that. It’s like realizing that just rubbing the washcloth on my body like I always have done is not enough because there are areas on my body that are now rubbing against each other that weren’t before. I’m having a hard time explaining what I mean lol… Anyways I can see someone not recognizing that maybe they need to pay extra attention to their butt crack now to get fully clean every time n every shower? But like crusties is like what!!! That’s a whole other ballpark. When they was talking about a smell I was thinking like sweaty odor. Not poop… wouldn’t ya asshole itch?!? lol Get a bidet yall forreal it will change ya life

I think the DR woman is onto something. I am a nurse and during COVID, we got multiple female patients, close to death from dry gangrene after getting a BBL in the DR. Where I live bathrooms have either a bidet (less common now because of small spaces) or small showers attached to the flushing bowl. It’s the simplest, most inexpensive and hygienic device. After using the bathroom you simply gather the shower head, squeeze the handle and direct the flow to the intended area. This is crucial during menstrual periods as well. You will then dry yourself with toilet paper. I just cannot understand why that system is not widely used in the US.

I’m a naturally thick woman with a somewhat big behind. I shower or use wipes every time I go to the bathroom. I am prone to UTI & am on a probiotic for my entire life. I think a lot of people also don’t use probiotics and their farts stink horrifically because their gut health is terrible, been there done that 🤣 Another thing is if you’re a bigger girl you MUST exfoliate in showers! It is so important to get all that sweat and dead skin off. It’s true that being bigger you have more to clean 🤷‍♀️

The more fatty the kefir products are, the more vitamin k2 they also have which is another of their great nutrients. I think it's the best of the milk-derived dairies. If the memory serves me correctly, it's originally from the broader region of the Caucasian mountains. The taste is rather strong, but I like it. Read on it and give it a try, hope you like it, too, because it's greatly nutritious.
