The lovely nurse's question, "Do you belong to anyone?" nearly moved me to tears. After her horrible childhood, that question was a heartbreaker. That she turned out to be a kind, caring and wondrous nurse is the best possible outcome.
@renb61334 күн бұрын
Agree. Perhaps it’s her horrible childhood that’s given her such amazing empathy. She’s able to place herself in others’ shoes because she’s experienced terrible pain. For some, they become cynical & hard, for others, like this wonderful lady, they take that pain & use it to care for others & give them the love & care they never received.

I can relate to the guy who is paralyzed, I myself use a wheelchair, it was hard for me to accept that I couldn't ride my dirtbike, or the horses, but you find a new thing to do to take up your time and you carry on. Good Luck to him.

Is A & E, what we Americans call the Emergency Room or the E.R.?
@kaylaterreygirard9095Күн бұрын
Yes it is Kathy. I’m from Boston, Mass and I call it all three of them.

@kaylaterreygirard9095 I'm in the south and I have never heard the A & E term here.
@kaylaterreygirard9095Күн бұрын
@@kathylynch9732 Ah, I see. I heard it a lot when I was growing up in the 90’s. Born in 1992. There were a lot of doctor’s and still are from all around the globe. It’s not common anymore to hear people say A&E. There are a lot of people from Europe, Middle Eastern, and Asia who say it still, but not Americans (then and now). Everyone is incredibly great, empathic, kind, caring, knowledgeable, and do have a great education here in Boston of all the doctors I have met since I was born. I’ve only had four to six bad experiences with doctors in my 32 years of life. That’s pretty amazing, I must say and be honest about. The experiences are of them being mostly late (2-4 hours later and choosing other patients when I came first to fifth), another my regular doctor stayed outside instead of telling me very important things (instead she had two new male and female student doctors who just started that day telling me that I was going to die and not live past thirty (at age 20), needed a liver transplant, and how bad my liver was, and waiting for a new organ (how long, when, years, and being on that list). That moment changed my life and I was given a death date. Celebrating it ever since and my liver is 100% fine and not damaged at all. Perfectly pink and healthy looking liver. I knew it was, but had to had proof for all the doctors. I should’ve sued those two student doctors and that doctor I saw back at the end of 2011. I wouldn’t wish anyone or anybody even my worst enemies (if I had any) to hear that and be told you’re going to die and not live up to thirty or past it, unable and not going to have children, and needing a liver transplant and waiting list. Otherwise, like I said; I have met a lot of amazing male and female doctors and students.

@sarahsnowe2 күн бұрын
@@dl1747 Okay--perhaps in Marine circles that's more appropriate, as in "once a Marine . . ."? However, the dictionary definition of "ex" as a prefix is "one that formerly held a specified position or place." Anyway, take it up with the script writer because that's what the narrator says.
