Girl, I’ve been following you since February, and you are such an inspiration! My surgery is scheduled for July of next year, and I can only hope I do as good as you have! I just have to say thanks for helping me to decide on such a great surgical team! Best of luck with your continued healing!

I'm so glad you are back home and hope you are able to get better rest now. I have followed your VSG and plastics journey and have greatly enjoyed your content. I had my round 1 of plastics 2 weeks after you and I'm schedule for round 2 tomorrow. I had an arm lift, ETT, and BL in February and tomorrow I having an extended thigh lift (basically same as yours) and they are bringing the ETT scar all the way around the back to lift my sagging booty, lol. The stinging in the arm pits was surprisingly the most irritating and uncomfortable the 1st round. I found ice packs (or bags of frozen peas or corn) to really help with the discomfort in the arm pit area, if your doctor is okay with you doing that? Best of luck on your continued recovery!

OMG, exciting! Sending you all the good healing vibes!! Out of everything I've had done, I'd definitely say the armpits have been the most irritating/painful, though thankfully they've been feeling a lot better now, especially not that I have my sleeves to really protect the incisions. Good luck tomorrow and with your healing after!

I'm glad that compression sleeves are helping and the armpits are less irritable. My surgery was finished at 4:00 today and everything went well. Luckily, this time I'm less awake. The steroid they gave me last time and this time to help with swelling really kept me awake a lot of day 1, so I"m grateful it isn't this time. Since I did arms last time, my thighs are definitely the most sore, but not unbearable at all.I love all of your updates, so welcome whatever you are up for sharing. I'm only a 3 hour drive from home, but we are still staying in a hotel until Friday, so interesting to see what you packed. I did have the incision from my armpit extended to the oringal BL incision to remove the side boob, lol. So I woke up in a surgery bra and compression garment that goes just past my knees (longer than the TT one). Interesting to hear and see how different doctors do things and how things vary from patient to patient. Continued luck in your healing Grace!

LOL on the clocks. I had a few errands to run this afternoon and was on the way home and looked at the clock in my car and couldn't figure out how my errands took as long as they did. I didn't have the "ah ha" moment until I looked at my watch after I got home. I hadn't set the clock back in my car. Glad you made it home okay. Hopefully, you sleep better now that you are home. I hope so. Be blessed.
