This has to be my favorite performance from this show, Ryutaro's vocals are so raw. If you found this song off tiktok, I'm glad you're expanding your music taste, but please don't water down or make vkei a 'harmful' space. Bandmen are real people, and the subculture has a lot of history behind it.

so glad i found it!! got into vkei very recently. lowkey dissapointed that i didn't find this song, and band in general earlier. the vocals are SO GORGEOUS and the instrumentals are breathtaking!! definitely grateful for people sharing it, but it's so unfortunate that the subculture's being disrespected by people who r ignorant like that :(( doing my best to learn ab the culture the more i get into it!

@@awife7456 Plastic Tree's sound specifically would fall under Misshitsu Kei (密室系), for sounding more 'vintage'. One of the best recommendations for similar sound would be the bands Emmurée and Deadman, for the softer atmospheric sounds. I personally don't have a whole lot of recommendations beyond that simply because they've fallen out of my head... there are hundreds of subgenres for visual kei and the best way to look into it would be to dive down a rabbit hole and find what you like and dislike. 🖤

@estherandjembe8253 I would recommend the classics first, Malice Mizer, Buck Tick, X Japan, Dir en grey, Versailles, The Gazette. It depends on what sound are you looking for though, personally I prefer less metal-y songs and more dramatic/emotional vibes. You can look for the types or substyles of vkei and once you find your favorite, look for bands that fit that category

Id LOVE the band to gain popularity, the problem is, this band is not even available on their official Spotify snd some random person is getting paid off of this song on Spotify. In fact that account had more listeners than the band itself one time. People are mistreating and are unwilling to look into the art of Visual Kei and instead use it for one video to put "vkeicore, manipulaiveolderbrothercore". It is causinh a negative impact. :)
